While in Troas, Apostle Paul had a dream of a tall, impressive Macedonian man urging him to “come to Macedonia and help them.” In the winter of 49, Apostle Paul landed on European soil for the first time in Neapoli. Apostle Paul and Silas faced accusations in Philippi but were miraculously freed by an earthquake.
